Chih-Chien Lin Clarinet

Chih-Chien Lin, a native of Taiwan, began his study of clarinet at the age of twelve, has won various competitions. In 2006, he won the first prize of the Young Artist Showcase Competition and performed as the soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra under conductor Wen-Ping Chien. In 2009, he won the second prize of the Artur Balsam Competition for Duos as well as the Lillian Fuchs Memorial Chamber Music Competition. He got his master's degree from Manhattan School of Music in May 2010 and will attend USC to study with Yehuda Gilad in Fall.

個人簡介

林志謙/單簧管

畢業於國立台中一中、東吳大學音樂系、美國曼哈頓音樂院(Manhattan School of Music)碩士班，主修單簧管，曾師事賴勇、陸慧、蕭也琴、陳威稜教授及紐約愛樂單簧管代理首席Mark Nuccio等老師。將於2010年九月赴南加州大學(USC)攻讀演奏文憑，並獲得獎學金進入美國單簧管教育界權威Yehuda Gilad門下。

林志謙曾獲93學年度台北市音樂比賽單簧管成人組第二名、2005年行天宮菁音獎單簧管成人組優等獎、2006年永豐愛樂古典菁英獎木管組首獎，並於決賽音樂會與國家交響樂團(NSO)協奏演出羅西尼:序奏、主題與變奏(Rossini: Introduction, theme and variations)，於2009年三月參加Artur Balsam二重奏比賽，於眾多管樂、弦樂參賽者中脫穎而出，獲得第二名殊榮。同年亦獲得Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition的優勝。

求學期間多次參與音樂節和大師班，並曾接受范磊(北京中央音樂院)、袁源(中國愛樂單簧管副首席)、Alexandre Chabod(巴黎國家歌劇院樂團單簧管第二首席)、Dong-Jim Kim、Steven Barta(巴爾地摩交響樂團單簧管首席)、Bil Jackson(科羅拉多交響樂團單簧管首席)、Michael Wayne(波士頓交響樂團)、Gregory Raden(達拉斯交響樂團單簧管首席)、Todd Levy(密爾瓦基交響樂團單簧管首席)、David Jones(甘迺迪中心歌劇院樂團單簧管首席)、Pascual Martinez (紐約愛樂)、Matthias Muller(瑞士蘇黎世大學教授)等多位大師指導。室內樂曾師事美國弦樂四重奏(American String Quartet)小提琴家Laurie Carny、大提琴家Wolfram Koessel和知名鋼琴伴奏家Heasook Rhee等。

林志謙於2009年二月考上美國National Orchestra Institute音樂節，為全美四位入選者之一，並於2009年五月參與樂團排練與演出擔任單簧管首席。2009年十一月，受邀參與美國知名室內樂團Orpheus Chamber Orchestra Institute的演出。2010年二月，受邀與知名單簧管演奏家Alan Kay及其木管五重奏Windscape合作演出。同時，受邀與美洲青年交響樂團Youth Orchestra of Americas於卡內基音樂廳的史坦廳演奏，指揮為Valery Gergiev、 Carlos Miguel Prieto，小提琴家Joshua Bell、Julian Rachlin。
